About Us

Honu R&S is first and foremost a nonprofit animal care sanctuary and research facility

that was founded from the ground up by Turtle.

We specialize in the preservation of endangered animals and honu's (Leaf Turtles) which are now nearly extinct. they were first discovered by our founder, and he has since devoted his life to these animals' survival for generations to come. Honu's are so trusting that they can often die in the wild from being too friendly.

At HonuR&S, we provide a safe environment for our honus and other animals to live and thrive, as well as research into Honu ecology, behavior, and conservation. We also provide educational programs to the local community in order to raise awareness of the need to protect and preserve these incredible creatures.

 

HonuR&S also offers a resort and restaurant experience like no other.

We offer an extensive resort, two four-diamond restaurants, and a food court.
